Chelsea Groton Bank Ranked 5-Star Superior Bank

GROTON, CT – Chelsea Groton Bank has again earned a coveted five-star rating from BauerFinancial, the Nation’s Premier Bank Rating Firm. A five-star rating indicates the bank excels in areas of capital adequacy, profitability, asset quality and much more.

Earning and maintaining this top five-star rating for 94 consecutive quarters puts Chelsea Groton Bank in an even more prominent position as a “Sustained Superiority Bank," according to a release. This designation is reserved for the top 10 percent of banks, all of whom have maintained Bauer’s highest rating longer than 90 percent of the industry.
