Child & Family Agency is hosting a School, Family & Community Fun Fair called “Spring into Spring”! New London children and their families are invited to the BP Learned Mission on March 21, 2014 from 5:30-7:30 to enjoy carnival games, a moonbounce, free dinner and refreshments, meet-and-greet with popular children’s characters, and more! CFA will also be raffling off an Ipad and a children’s bicycle.
In addition to providing a fun family evening, CFA’s ultimate goal is to educate families about the new magnet school system in New London (the only school system in the state to be completely “magnet”) and assist them in filling out the online application. Principals have shared their concern about families not having all of the information needed to enroll their children before the start of the academic year. We hope we can be one more vehicle for sharing information and helping families through the process.
Representatives from School Based Health Center, early childhood education programs, Access Health, and Safe Kids will also be present to share information and resources with families.
