City Of Groton Citizens' Police Academy Starts Next Month

GROTON, CT — The City of Groton Police Department is sponsoring a Citizens Police Academy which starts next month.

"The purpose of this academy is to provide the local community with information as it relates to the function and activities of the City of Groton Police Department," police said.

The program begins Sept. 27 and will run for 8 weeks.

All applications must be received to the City of Groton Police Department no later than 4 p.m., Sept. 15.
