City Of Groton Holds Pride Month Ceremony

This afternoon during the City’s Pride Month Celebration Ceremony in front of the Municipal Building Mayor Keith Hedrick issued a proclamation recognizing the month of June as “Pride Month” in the City of Groton. The Ceremony was attended by many local students, politicians and interested groups along with city employees.

The ceremony was ushered in by the raising of the Pride Flag in front of the City of Groton Municipal Building. The flag raising was followed by speeches by several people, concluding with the Mayor’s proclamation.
