City Of Groton Police Investigate Purse Theft

GROTON, CT — City of Groton police are investigating after a report of a lost or stolen wallet from a vehicle. The victim said she left her black purse in an Uber on March 7 at 9:53 p.m.

Her credit card was used at a Dollar General on Long Hill Road and at a Shell station on Poquonnock Road the next day. The victim’s EBT card was used at Big Y grocery store on Poquonnock Road as well.

Police are looking to identify a suspect in the case, whose image has been posted on Facebook.
