City Of Groton Police Officers Recognized In Awards

GROTON, CT — On December 18th, at the City of Groton's Mayor and Council meeting, Chief Burton presented the following award recognition to the following personnel for exemplary service:

• Officer Cardelle and Officer Clark received a life saving award for their actions in October.
• Detective Sergeant Holliday, Corporals de la Cruz and Ruddy, Detective Hammett, Officers LeSage, Hauptman and Precourt; and Youth Officer DiBenedetto received unit citation awards for an investigation, search warrant and subsequent arrest which removed dangerous narcotics from the city.
• Dispatcher Rodrigue received unit citation award for her efficiency and calm demeanor in contributing directly to the ability of the officers to deploy lifesaving measures in October.
