Country Club Owner Arrested On Cocaine Charges: Groton Police
Groton police said two Waterford suspects, one of whom owns a popular country club, were recently arrested on cocaine charges.

WATERFORD, CT — Groton police said two Waterford men were recently arrested on charges of allegedly dealing cocaine, the New London Day reported. Police said one of the suspects owns a popular local country club.
According to the Day, police said (removed) and Kenneth C. McNeil, 45, were both arrested on Feb. 2 on possession of narcotics charges. (removed) runs the Great Neck Country Club with his wife, and the pair has been credited with reinvigorating the club in recent years.
Police said the suspects' arrests were the result of a vehicle search conducted by officers earlier this month that yielded unspecified amounts of cocaine and U.S. currency, according to the Day.
