Breaking: Bank Robbery Suspect ID'd as Groton Man
The Town of Groton Police Department said the man pictured is the suspect in an alleged bank robbery. They are still searching for him.
The Town of Groton Police Department posted the following update to a man who allegedly robbed the in-store branch of the Citizens Bank at the Stop & Shop in Richmond, R.I. at approximately 2:20 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24.
“Thanks to all of you who have assisted us,” the Groton PD announced on Facebook. “As a result of your help we have positively identified the subject as Richard P. Love of Groton. The Richmond R.I. Police Department has an active warrant for his arrest.”
Police said he may be operating a 2005 Chevy Silverado, color grey with CT. marker plate 3375CU. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts please contact Richmond at 401-539-8289 or the Groton Town Police Department at 860-441-6712.
