Dog Bite in Groton Prompts Call to Police

Groton Police are seeking information on the dog and its owner.

At approximately 5:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16, the Town of Groton Police Department received a report of a dog bite that occurred in the area of Gungywamp Road and Osprey Drive.

“The dog is described as a black and brown German Shepherd and/or Labrador mix,” police said. “We are looking for information on the dog and its owners.”
