Emerson Student Calvin Jacey Of Groton Reported On Super Bowl LIV

Jacey was one of the college students in Miami who worked at the NFL Media Center, Social Media Command Center, and at Super Bowl LIVE.

MIAMI, FL — Emerson College students from varying majors and minors in the Department of Communication Studies traveled to Miami, Florida to experience Super Bowl LIV first-hand. These students had the opportunity to work both behind the scenes and in front of the camera, surrounded by celebrities, conducting interviews, and monitoring social media activity.

Among those participating students was Groton native Calvin Jacey, who is currently pursuing a degree in Public Relations and is a member of the Emerson College Class of 2022.

Some of the specific areas they were involved in included: Media Center for NFL Transportation, Social Media Command Center, and Super Bowl LIVE. Additionally, every one of the students was able to attend a press conference either for the Miami Super Bowl LIV Host Committee or the NFL Commissioner or the Pepsi Halftime Show, and assist press/guests/VIPs during these events.
