Estimated Schedule Announced For Gold Star Bridge Work: Groton PD
According to police, the final touches on the deck of the I-95 southbound Gold Star Bridge are coming soon.

GROTON, CT – The final touches on the deck of the Interstate 95 southbound Gold Star Bridge are coming soon and police are giving travelers a heads up on what to expect. According to police, the jersey barriers have been removed and the final lane striping is being worked on over the next few days.
Beginning this week, the number of through lanes on the bridge will be reduced to two lanes from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. This will continue into next week, and both day and night work will continue over the next few weeks.

- Striping right/center lanes - Oct. 31-Nov. 7
- Striping left lanes – Nov. 8-Nov. 9
- Overhead signs–Nov. 12–Nov. 16
Police emphasize this schedule is weather dependent and subject to change.
"There may be some minor impacts on some on/off ramps during stages of these final projects," police said on Facebook. "While most of the more disrupting work will be occurring overnight, it may be necessary to apply certain materials during the day when warmer weather is necessary for the materials to cure."
