Learn to Drum! The Healing Power of Drums

Join Master Drummer and Yogi Jim Conlon for an introduction to hand drumming. Students will learn the basics of African Rhythms and then get a chance to play for an African dance class. No experience necessary. Drums provided if needed. Men and women are welcome.

African Dance

Join Amy Zezulka and live drummers for a fun-filled booty shaking good time! No experience necessary. Class begins with a warm-up in which we move all parts of the body in time to the beat. Then we learn traditional West African dance moves which are invigorating and empowering. There is an emphasis on feeling good rather than “doing it right.” Men and women [JL2] are welcome. Wear comfortable clothing and bare feet required.
