The Library will show the Alfred Hitchcock classic, Rear Window, on Tuesday, January 17, at 2 p.m. James Stewart stars as professional photographer L.B. "Jeff" Jeffries. Recuperating from a broken leg and confined to his New York apartment, he spends his time looking out his rear window observing the neighbors. He begins to suspect that a man across the courtyard may have murdered his wife. Jeff enlists the help of his high society fashion-consultant girlfriend, Lisa Freemont played by Grace Kelly, to investigate. This romantic thriller runs for 112 minutes and is rated PG.
