The Groton Public Library will discuss Walking to Gatlinburg by Howard Frank Mosher. Mosher's novel tells the story of seventeen-year-old Morgan Kinneson during the Civil War. Morgan is guiding an elderly slave along the Underground Railroad in northern Vermont when the man is lynched. Pursued by the killers, Morgan begins a prolonged quest to find his brother, a Union doctor missing since the battle of Gettysburg.
