The ninth season of the Library’s Independent Film Series begins on Friday, September 9, at 7 p.m. with a film from Colombia, Colors of the Mountain. The film is in Spanish with English subtitles and runs for 93 minutes. No registration required.
The film series will continue on October 7, November 4 and December 2. Films for the series are part of the Library’s Film Movement collection. Film Movement supplies libraries with award-winning foreign and independent films selected from winners of film festivals like Sundance, Toronto and Cannes, as well as films that have won or been nominated for their country’s equivalent to the Academy Award.
