Monday Movie: Moneyball

The Library will screen the film, Moneyball , on Monday, March 12, at 6 p.m.  Brad Pitt stars in this baseball movie about an Oakland A's general manager who defies conventional wisdom and outsmarts his competition when forced to reinvent his team with bargain players. The film won the American Film Institute Movie of the Year award for 2011 and was nominated for an Oscar in six categories, including Best Motion Picture of the Year, Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role and Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role. The film is rated PG-13 and runs for 113 minutes.
