The Mystic Contra Dance is informal and fun—allemande right your corner, balance and swing your partner! A live band supplies the music, traditional Irish or French Canadian tunes. A caller teaches every dance--you can learn the basic moves in fifteen minutes! Beginner lesson at 7:45.
It’s a community event – dancers might be from 7-70 years old. Everyone is welcome: singles, couples, families and we are GLBT friendly. Wear cool, comfortable clothing and shoes.
