One Book, One Region Family Program: Hands-on Henna

Wednesday, July 20, at 6:00 p.m.

After a brief introduction to the history of henna, you will have the opportunity to choose and apply your own temporary henna tattoo.  Henna is a paste made from the leaves of the henna plant and it stains the upper layers of the skin; henna tattoos last from 2 to 6 weeks.  Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied; those ages 13—18 must have a signed permission slip.  Registration required.
