Firefighters Extinguish Dumpster Blaze In Groton

GROTON, CT — Firefighters extinguished a dumpster fire at a Groton business Monday night, according to a post from Poquonnock Bridge Professional Firefighters Local 2704.

Firefighters were dispatched at 9:55 p.m. on a report of a dumpster fire in proximity to a building at 1041 Poquonnock Road.

The fire extended to the building. Firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze, and the extension of the fire to the building was kept to a minimum.
