The Town of Groton's Office of Emergency Management anticipates creating a map to track the recent sightings.
A black bear sighted in Groton recently appears to be setting up a habitat bounded by Flanders Road to the east, Route 1 to the south and west, and 184 to the north, the Town of Groton: Office of Emergency Management shared via Facebook on Saturday, June 6.
“We had another sighting of the black bear last night on Laurelwood Road in Groton,” they said.
