1. CORNERSTONE PRODUCTIONS PRESENT “MOONLIGHT IN MYSTIC”

WHERE/WHEN: Shows are at 4 p.m. starting Friday and running through Tuesday at the Cornerstone Playhouse in Olde Mistick Village in Mystic.

WHY GO: Whether you catch this show with a friend or spouse, it’s a great way to feel the spirit of Valentine’s Day.

PRICING: Tickets are $15 for kids, $30.95 for seniors and $32.95 for adults.

2. MUSIC MATTERS PRESENTS ANDY SHERWOOD’S DIXIELAND JAZZ QUARTET

WHERE/WHEN: Saturday at the La Grua Center in Stonington from 5 to 7 p.m.

WHY GO: The performance is a tribute to New Orleans Jazz from 1900 to 1960.

PRICING: The show is free and open to the public.

WHERE/WHEN: Saturday from 6:30 to 11 p.m. at the Port N’ Starboard in New London.

WHY GO: You’ll get to throw on that little black (or red) dress! Don’t forget, proceeds benefit heart awareness and the Lawrence & Memorial Centennial Campaign.

PRICING: Tickets can be purchased in advance for $25; at the door for $30.

WHERE/WHEN: Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Garde Arts Center in New London.

WHY GO: The show celebrates Presidents’ Day and African American History Month—wear your red, white and blue. 

PRICING: All Coast Guard Band concerts are free and open to the public.

5. CITY CABARET PRESENTS OBRIEN STRINGS

WHERE/WHEN: Sunday at 3 p.m. at the City of Groton Municipal Auditorium.

WHY GO: The free monthly concert series features a classical trio this Sunday. It’s a great way to wind down the weekend.

PRICING: All City Cabaret performances are free. The Fitch High School Drug and Alcohol Free Party Committee will sell dessert and coffee.
