Goose Shot With Arrow In Groton, Reward Offered For Info: Report
Anyone with information can contact the Connecticut Wildlife Rehabilitators Association or local police.

GROTON, CT – A $1,000 reward is being offered by the Connecticut Wildlife Rehabilitators Association for information leading to the arrest of a person who illegally shot a goose with an arrow, the New London Day reported. CWRA officials said the bird was shot with a type of arrow used for target practice.
According to the New London Day, the Canada goose was seen last week swimming in Rock Lake at the Submarine Base with an arrow protruding through its body. CWRA officials are currently attempting to capture the bird for medical treatment, however its has not been seen for several days.
