Groton Beach Among Best For Dogs In State, Website Says
Dogster.com has rated a Groton beach among the best in the state for dogs.

GROTON, CT — Summer is almost here and many are already dreaming of sand, sun, and sea. If you don't want to leave your dog home on your next trip to the beach, Dogster.com has you covered with the five best Connecticut beaches for dogs.
One of those happens to be Bluff Point State Park in Groton, which came in at No. 4. The beach is open from April 1 to Sept. 1. Dogs are allowed on leash, according to the park's website.
Bluff Point got points from Dogster.com for being dog-friendly and having more than 800 acres of nature to explore. The park also features hiking, fishing, and a beautiful bluff overlook.
