The single most pressing issue facing our town/district is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.

Quality of Life is the most pressing issue. Providing necessary services in the most trying of economic times in the history of Connecticut will be a challenge that I will do my best to meet.

What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

Firstly, I commend all my fellow candidates for having the devotion to service to seek office on the Council - these are difficult and trying times.

If there is a critical difference, it is that I have successfully filled the position of Town Council person. Honed by that experience, past success will result in yet greater future success.

List other issues that define your campaign platform:

Transparency, accountability and ensuring that every citizen's voice and opinion is heard with respect and consideration.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

In a time of economic distress and diminishing state aid in Connecticut, my service on the Groton Town Council has kept Groton on a fiscally prudent-path while maintaining quality of services.

The best advice ever shared with me was …

You change the world by being yourself. ~Yoko Ono

What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

I was raised in Groton, brought up my daughters in Groton, will grow old in Groton. As all others, I pay taxes in Groton. My ultimate goal is to have said when gone that I served Groton well and faithfully, fiscally prudent and socially responsible.
