Groton Charter Revision Petition getting close to Goal

For the latest totals on the GRTV petition to have the Town Charter modifications on the November 2018 Ballot, over 1,800 signatures are received, and close to our goal of 2000 by Friday afternoon on 1/12/18. We still need your support to make that goal a reality.

There are retail locations that have petitions so that active Groton voters can sign them.
These revisions, if voted in favor, will allow citizens to vote directly in referendum on the Town Budget, retire the RTM and add a Board of Finance to assist with budget review. There are no other major changes.

At Groton Stop & Shop entrances for most of the day.....Thurs

At Sneakers Cafe on Poquonnock Road starting in the evening...Thurs
Carson's Store - Noank - open till 2pm Thurs & Fri
Ackley's Package - P B - open normal business hrs Thurs & Fri
R.E.M Boot Store - across from Groton Shopping Plaza 10am - 6pm
Our G R T V storefront - East end vacant store in Groton Shopping Plaza near EB Office building
- open Thurs 2pm - 3pm, and Friday 1pm - 2pm. Parking near the EB office building.
