Groton City Brew Run Set For This Weekend

MYSTIC, CT – Lace up your running shoes and get ready to race to the finish line at the 4th Annual Groton City Brew Run set for Saturday, September 7, 2024 at Eastern Point Beach in Groton City. This year’s event promises an exciting day combining fitness, fun, great local brews, music and food trucks.

Hosted by the Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce, Groton Utilities and Kelley’s Pace, the Groton City Brew Run brings together runners, beer enthusiasts, and families for an unforgettable event. The race will kick off with a scenic 5k run/walk through Groton City’s charming streets offering participants the chance to enjoy the area's natural coastline beauty.

  • 11:30AM – Brewfest, Music by Acoustic Marshpit and Food Trucks including Supreme Hot Dot, Curb Your Appetite, Bean Spot and Kona Ice.
• Run and Enjoy Local Brews: Celebrate your finish at our Brew Garden, featuring craft beer from the finest local breweries including Whalers Brewing Company, Bank & Bridge, Two Roads Brewing, Outer Light Brewing Company, Waypoint Spirits, Barkin Barley, Black Pond Brews, The Barn, Truly Hard Seltzer, Taylor Brooke Brewery, Athletic Brewing Company, Leving Distributors, Gray Sail Brewing, Epicure and City Steam Brewery
• Family-Friendly Activities: Bring the whole family! The event will feature games and much more. There’s something for everyone.

A portion of funds generated by the Groton City Brew Run will benefit The Riverfront Children’s Center.
