Groton City Mayor Galbraith Will Not Seek Re-Election this Year
Galbraith has already served as mayor for three consecutive terms.

GROTON, CT - Groton City Mayor Marian Galbraith announced this week she will not seek re-election, The Day reported.
Galbraith told City Council on Tuesday she will not seek a fourth term in the upcoming city election, according to The Day. The election will be held on May 1 of this year.
Galbraith said she always intended to serve six years when she first ran in 2011, The Day reported. She has served as mayor for three consecutive terms.
