This program will include a showing of Connecticut Public's production: "CLIMATE CHANGE ALONG CONNECTICUT'S COAST" followed by a Panel Discussion with Q & A on climate change impacts in Groton, how to mitigate them and adapt to a rapidly changing world.
The program is sponsored by the Groton Resiliency & Sustainability Task Force as well as t, as he Connecticut Institute for Resilience & Climate Adaptation.

For what should now be obvious reasons, this is a very important subject, as climate change is now affecting ALL of us....every day. And there are sections of Town near where I live where water frequently comes over some of the local roads at some high tides, without even a major storm being involved.
We need to protect ourselves....and we need to know how to accomplish this.
