Groton To Close Some Recreational Facilities
The town has announced it will close the skate park, basketball courts, and other facilities.
GROTON, CT —Effective Tuesday, the town will close its skate park, Central Bark Dog Park, basketball courts, tennis courts, and the Esker Point Beach volleyball courts, according to The Day. Playgrounds remain open.
Trails and parks are also open, but city officials asked people to maintain social distancing.
