Groton Firefighters Rescue Pets; Contain Fire
The fire was contained to the basement of a Crystal Lake Road home.
Post from Submarine Base Firefighters Local F-219:
Engine 62 and Tower Ladder 65 responded along with Poquonnock Bridge Fire, City of Groton Fire and Center Groton Fire to a reported house fire at 215 Crystal Lake Rd. The fire was contained to the basement and several pets were removed from the residence. All doing well and no injuries were sustained. A good day!
