Groton Firefighters Respond to Accident Over the Weekend

Post from Submarine Base Firefighters Local F-219:

A Shift members of Engine 62 were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident early this morning in the area of 774 Gungywamp Rd.

Engine 62 assisted members of Poquonnock Bridge Fire Department in removing two patients from their vehicle that had landed approximately 25 feet below the road surface. Patients transported by Groton Ambulance.
