Residents can help kids in need by sending them to school with a backpack full of supplies.
GROTON, CT — Residents can help children and families in Groton this week by sending kids in need to school with a backpack full of supplies. According to the town website, there is still time to drop off supplies to Groton Human Services.
Items needed include:
- Binders
- Dividers
- Folders
- Notebooks
- Lined-Paper
- Colored Markers
- Colored Pencils
- Highlighters
- Pens & Pencils
- Glue Sticks
- Erasers
- Scissors
- White-Out
- Rulers
- Pencil Sharpeners
- Pencil Cases
- Calculators
- Thumb Drives
Drop off supplies by Friday, Aug. 17 to Groton Human Services at 2 Fort Hill Road (Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.).
