Groton Liquor Store Penalized For Selling To Minor: State
A Groton liquor store will pay a fine and have its license suspended for a day for allegedly violating state laws on alcohol sales.

GROTON, CT — A Groton liquor store was penalized for violating state laws on alcohol sales. Groton Discount Wine and Spirits on Route 12 was fined $500, according to the state Department of Consumer Protection's Liquor Control Commission.
The store will also have its license suspended Jan. 31. The suspension and fine were imposed after the store allegedly sold liquor to a minor, according to the state document.
