Groton Man Accused Of Exposing Himself In Front Of Kids: Report

GROTON, CT — Police said a Groton man is accused of exposing himself in front of children playing basketball, the New London Day reported. The accused was arraigned Tuesday on charges related to the incident.

According to the Day, police said they received reports on May 5 of a man masturbating in public while looking at children in a basketball court. Officers subsequently reviewed surveillance footage and identified the suspect as Steven Waterman, 60, of Groton, police said.

The accused was previously sentenced to three years in prison for allegedly exposing himself to minors in 2003, according to the Day.
