Groton Man Arrested for Sale of Heroin, Carrying Dangerous Weapon: Report

The arrest came after an investigation into the sale of heroin throughout southeastern Connecticut.

GROTON, CT – A man suspected of selling heroin was arrested Wednesday by the Regional Community Enhancement Task Force.

Isaac Parham, 51, was charged with selling heroin and carrying a dangerous weapon. Police said on Facebook that he was placed under arrest in the Town of Groton after an investigation into the sale of heroin throughout southeastern Connecticut was conducted.

Police said two dangerous weapons were found on Perham's person after a search by officers. He is currently being held on $100,000 bond and will appear in court on Wednesday.

The task force is comprised of detectives and officers from southeastern Connecticut formed to combat the heroin and drug epidemic in the area and improve the quality of life for citizens.
