Groton Man Charged With Dealing Fentanyl: Police
A Groton man is facing charges that he operated a drug factory.
GROTON, CT — Police have charged a man with operating a drug factory. Groton Town police arrested the man on a warrant for a home Thursday.
Luis Gaston, 48, of 27 Midway Oval, was charged with three counts of possession of controlled substances, operation of a drug factory, three counts of possession of narcotics with intent to distribute, possession of narcotics with intent to sell within 1500' of school, housing or daycare, and criminal possession of a firearm and ammunition by a convicted felon.
He was held on $100,000 bond pending arraignment in New London Superior Court.

Police said in a statement that in a search of Gaston's home, they seized 2.5 ounces of fentanyl with a street value of $14,000, powder and crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia consistent with operating a drug factory, cash, a firearm, various calibers of ammunition, and a 2008 Ford Escape.
Toru LeClerc, 27, of no certain address, was also arrested. She was charged with six counts of failure to appear, possession of narcotics, and interfering with a search warrant.
