Groton Man Had 23 lbs. Of Marijuana, $39K In Cash: Police
Police arrested a man on drug-dealing charges Friday.

GROTON, CT - Police arrested a local man on drug-dealing charges Friday. Sage Baranski, 19, of 34 Lestertown Road, was charged with possession of over 1 kilogram of marijuana with intent to sell, possession of marijuana over four ounces, possession of narcotics, and operating a drug factory.
Police said they seized the following during a bust on Baranski's residence: $39,270 in cash, 23 lbs. of marijuana, 735 marijuana vape cartridges, 1 bottle of Promethazine, 2 bottles of liquid THC, and various marijuana edibles.
Groton Town Police officers were granted a search and seizure warrant following an out of state arrest and subsequent information that was provided by another law enforcement agency.

The bust took place Feb. 26 and Baranski was arrested on a warrant Friday. He was released on $50,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in New London Superior Court April 15.
