Groton Man Punctures Victim's Lung in Stabbing: Police

Richard Sawyer IV was arrested on a first-degree assault charge.

Groton resident Richard Sawyer IV, 33, was arrested on Monday, Sept. 14, after allegedly stabbing a victim. The 25-year-old man suffered a punctured lung, according to NBC Connecticut.

Sawyer was issued a Tuesday, Sept. 15, court date.
