Groton Man Wins Big With CT Lottery Again Using Exact Same Numbers
CT Lottery officials said a Groton man won big a second time after playing with the exact same numbers as last time.

GROTON, CT — The CT Lottery saw a familiar face when Mark Roy of Groton returned to claim another huge KENO prize. Last year, Roy won a $200,000 prize, matching 7 of 7 numbers with a 4X multiplier, according to a release.
This year, Roy played the exact same numbers, at the same Retailer and won $100,000. He is the CT Lottery’s largest KENO winner to date. (For more information on this and other neighborhood stories, subscribe to Patch to receive daily newsletters and breaking news alerts.)
“The numbers, they all mean something to me. They’re all family birthday numbers. I’m just ecstatic,” Roy said in a release, “I had a feeling, Thursday I got up and said, ‘Something good is going to happen today!’”

Roy won $50,000 for matching 7 out of 7 numbers on his $20 ticket in game #159711. Since the bonus multiplier was 2X, Roy’s prize was automatically multiplied to $100,000.
“I feel so happy," Roy said. "There’s money in the bank, I have a great job, I feel blessed; blessed with family and friends.”
