Groton May Establish Beautification Committee: Report
If approved, the committee would utilize volunteers to beautify areas in town.
GROTON, CT — The Town Council will vote Tuesday on establishing a Beautification Committee for Groton, the New London Day reported. If approved, the committee would utilize volunteers to beautify areas in town.
According to the Day, Tuesday's vote would be the final step for the committee's approval after it was unanimously approved last month at a Committee of the Whole meeting. Projects tackled by the committee could include planting trees, leading cleanup days and raising money for park benches.
