Groton Mother Pleads Not Guilty to Teen Sex Charges
The suspect was charged with having an illegal sexual relationship with a 14-year old boy.
GROTON, CT - A Groton mother plead not guilty in court Wednesday to teen sex charges, as reported by The Day.
Dawn Kerr, 35, was charged by town police in September with having an illegal sexual relationship with a 14-year old boy, according to The Day. She plead not guilty to sexual assault and risk of injury to a minor.
Though still illegal, court records indicate the alleged sex acts were consensual, The Day reported. Kerr is allegedly the mother of one of the victim’s friends.
