Groton Pizzeria Announces Closing
"Although our time in Groton was not long, it has and always will have a special place in our hearts," the restaurant shared.
GROTON, CT — Pizzarama To-Go is closing its location at 344 Mitchell St. in Groton.
Pizzarama also operates a drive-in location on Broad Street in New London, which will not be affected by the closure.
It appears the Groton space won't be empty for long, though. Palermo Pizzeria & Catering is planning to open there in April, according to The Connecticut Scoop.

To our wonderful friends and loyal customers,
With the New Year, there are new considerations and opportunities for all. After much careful consideration and analysis, we've decided not to continue our operations in Groton.
The To-Go location has always provided traditional recipes and homemade items such as our pizzas, meatballs, and dinners that have been cultivated and offered on our menu for over 60 years. Although our time in Groton was not long, it has and always will have a special place in our hearts. We are grateful for the relationships we have built.
We are privileged and honored to have had the opportunity to serve the Groton area and look forward to doing so continuously through our New London store.
Thank you all and as always, we look forward to serving you!
