Groton Police Announce New Traffic Pattern
A new stop sign is part of the recently changed traffic pattern.

A new traffic pattern on Brandegee Avenue at Hynes Avenue, in front of West Side Middle School, was announced by the City of Groton Police Union.
“If you are traveling southbound (towards Pfizer) there is a new turn only lane,” they wrote on Facebook. “If you are traveling northbound (towards Clarence B. Sharp Highway) there is a new STOP sign before the cross walk and northbound entrance to West Side.”
The Police Union said West Side’s first day of school is Thursday, August 28, and the speed limit on Brandegee Avenue is 25 mph.
