Groton Police Arrest Man for Having Handguns, Crack Cocaine Near Children
Police said they located crack cocaine and other items in a place accessible to a 5-year old and an infant.

GROTON, CT – Police said they arrested a man Friday who had two handguns and crack cocaine near two small children, The Day reported.
Anthony Smith, 33, was arrested after members of the Regional Community Enhancement Task Force searched his residence, The Day reported. Police said they located crack cocaine, fentanyl as well as other materials related to the selling drugs.
The guns and drugs were allegedly accessible to a 5-year old and an infant, The Day reported. Smith was arrested on a number of charges, including possession of crack cocaine and risk of injury to a minor.
