Groton Police Arrest Man for Selling Forged Tickets on Craigslist, Charged with Assaulting Officer
An undercover officer attempted to arrest the suspect after he tried to sell the officer fake tickets.

GROTON, CT - Police arrested a man for selling forged concert tickets on the website Craigslist, Fox 61 reported.
Fred T. Lyons, 23, of New York was charged with assault on a police officer and conspiracy to commit larceny and forgery, according to Fox 61. Police had received reports about fake tickets being sold online for an event at a nearby casino.
An undercover officer attempted to arrest Lyons after he tried to sell the officer fake tickets, Fox 61 reported. The suspect was captured by police after a brief chase and struggle, from which one officer received minor injuries.
