Groton Police Continue Extensive Search For Missing Man
Police are continuing a search involving police dogs, drones, and divers after a man went missing last month.

GROTON, CT — Police are continuing the search for a man who went missing last month.
Steven Joseph Gush, 38, was last seen 3 p.m. on March 29 by family members in Ledyard.
Town of Groton police have conducted extensive searches along Gold Star Highway (Route 184) using drones, search-and-rescue K-9 teams, and state police divers.

"Their assistance has been invaluable in covering areas with limited accessibility and eliminating certain locations from focus, allowing our detectives to concentrate on other leads," police said in a Facebook post. "We have remained in close and consistent contact with Mr. Gush’s family, who have also organized independent search efforts. We remain hopeful that our ongoing investigation will lead to positive developments."
Gush’s vehicle and cell phone were located at the Candlewood Hill Wildlife Park on Route 184 between Candlewood Road and Rogers Road.

Gush is 6'02", 230 lbs., with a thick black beard, black hair, brown eyes, and tattoos on his legs and one arm.
