Groton Police Investigate Catalytic Converter Theft
Police are investigating a theft that occurred last week.
GROTON, CT — Town of Groton police are investigating a catalytic converter theft. Police said the crime took place Jan. 3 at about 5 a.m.
A Ford Escape was parked between Goodwill and Planet Fitness. Another vehicle approached, then someone crawled under the Ford Escape and cut the catalytic converter out.
The person then loaded the catalytic converter back into the vehicle, got back in, and left.
