Groton Police Make Second Arrest in Shooting Outside 99 Restaurant

A 17-year old suspect has been arrested, the second made by police in connection to the shooting.

GROTON, CT -- Police said they arrested a second suspect in connection with a shooting that occurred Sunday, Oct. 2 outside a 99 Restaurant, NBC Connecticut reported.

The suspect, 17, has been charged with robbery, as well as accessory to assault and robbery, according to NBC Connecticut. He has not been identified due to his age.

Police had arrested another 17-year old suspect earlier in the week, also believed to be in connection with the shooting, NBC Connecticut reported. Police said more arrests are expected in the case.
