Groton Police Search for Robbery Suspect

Know this guy? He is wanted in connection with a robbery that occurred on Sunday at Walmart.

Groton Police are asking for the public’s help to identify a robbery suspect.

Police responded to the Walmart at 150 Gold Star Highway around 12:30 p.m. Sunday for a report of an armed robbery.

A white male entered the store and approached the customer service desk and demanded money, police said. He implied he had a gun.

No gun was displayed and no one was injured. The man escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash.

He fled in a car westbound on Gold Star Highway.

The white male is described as 5’6” to 5’9” tall, heavy set, with dark hair and side burns. He was wearing a dark gray hat, a white button down long sleeve shirt with thin green stripes, over a black tee shirt; dark pants and white shoes.

The white male fled in a white newer model 2-door compact.
