Groton Police Seek 2 Wanted People In Shots Fired Case
Police say they "should be considered armed and dangerous."
GROTON, CT — Groton Police arrest one person and are looking for two others in a shots fired case. On Thursday, Nov. 15 at 12:53 am Groton Town Police responded to Midway Oval in the area of Miami Court for a report of gunshots being fired, police said.
Responding patrol officers discovered evidence consistent with a weapon being fired in the area. Detectives responded to the scene and assumed the investigation. Over the last six days Detectives and Investigators have worked this investigation and as a result have obtained arrest warrants for 3 suspects, police said. At this time, one of the suspects is in police custody and 2 remain at large, police said.
The following subject came to Groton Town police headquarters to turn herself in on 11/21/18 at 1:45 pm. Sapphire Kelly, 18 years old LKA Midway Oval Groton, CT for Conspiracy of the Sale of Marijuana, Operating a Drug Factory, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Marijuana with the intent to sell. Kelly is being held on a $50,000 court set bond and will be presented in New London Superior Court on 11/23/18.

The following subjects are wanted at this time:
Matthew Beck LKA, of Midway Oval Groton, CT for Criminal use of a Firearm, Unlawful Discharge of a Firearm, Reckless Endangerment 1st Degree, Conspiracy of the Sale of Marijuana, Operating a Drug Factory, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Marijuana with the intent to sell. Beck is a 21 year old white male, 5’9” tall, 150 pounds, brown hair, and hazel eyes.
Kalyn Bomster LKA Midway Oval Groton, CT for Conspiracy of the Sale of Marijuana, Operating a Drug Factory, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Marijuana with the intent to sell. Bomster is a 19 year old white female, 5’8” tall, 175 pounds, brown hair, and brown eyes.
Detectives are attempting to locate Bomster and Beck, police said.

"We are now asking for the public’s assistance in locating these subjects. Bomster and Beck should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone who sees either subject should not confront him/ her, they should call 911 immediately. Detectives are actively pursuing leads in this case and anyone with information on this investigation or regarding their whereabouts, are asked to contact the Groton Police Department 860-441-6712."
